Here, it's easy to walk!

Discover vines with those who know them best. Wine growers lead vineyard walks through the summer

Wine lovers are drawn to take part in these walks in Greater Carcassonne each year, curious to find out more about the land, the grape varieties and the men and women who produce wine for our pleasure.

The vineyard walks, created by the Greater Carcassonne Tourist Information Office are a fabulous way to find out what it's like to be a wine grower.

You follow in the steps of the professionals, into fields full of vines and grapes, and into the depths of the cellars, to discover the secrets of winemaking. Your day finishes in the store houses, where you can taste some of the produce. The wine grower will reveal all to make this a unique experience. You learn a lot, you share and you enjoy a completely unpretentious get-together.
