6 years after setting the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps alight, the legendary Marseilles group IAM are back at the Carcassonne Festival!

Formed in 1989 and hailing from Marseilles, IAM is the iconic rap group made up of Akhenaton, Shurik'n, Kheops, Imhotep and Kephren. Known for their unique musical style, their lyrics are often politically engaged, addressing issues such as social injustice, racism and urban violence. Their album 'L'Ecole du Micro d'Argent' is still considered one of the best French rap albums of all time, and has won numerous awards including the prestigious Victoire de la Musique. A legendary group, they left their mark on the history of French music. Their music continues to inspire people around the world, and their influence remains undeniable today.
