Regarding
Henry de Monfreid is an Aude writer and navigator born in La Franqui (Leucate) in 1879, famous in particular for his tumultuous adventures experienced in West Africa from the 1910s to the 1940s.
The exhibition presented here, designed and produced using the collection of documents kept at the Departmental Archives of Aude, allows us to understand his exceptional career through his writings, his drawings, his photographs and other objects that belonged to him.
