LA RIZIERE DE L’ETANG DE MARSEILLETTE

Situated in the former Etang de Marseillette and benefiting from its very own ecosystem, the Domaine Saint-Gabriel has the particular distinction of cultivating rice in addition to its main vocation as a winegrower (since 1925).
Today, the plots (which cover 70 hectares) are sown with different varieties, ranging from round rice to fragrant rice, long rice and wholegrain red rice.
The latest product from the estate managed by Laurent Malis is an organic, gluten-free beer called ‘Orizginale’, a craft beer made from...rice!
