Regarding

There are three public gardens in Caux-et-Sauzens, all beautifully maintained by the local authority. Come and enjoy!

LE JARDIN DES PUITS
Created in the 90s and adjacent to the schools. The land was irrigated by three wells, only one of which is still in use today. Reeds, hedges and umbrella pines surround the pool, which is fed by a small, intermittently-flowing stream, making it a cool, shaded area which is often used for rest and meditation.

LE JARDIN DU CURE
Located near the church and the town hall (a former presbytery) and overlooking Boulevard du Foyer. Completed and opened in 2019. It has been laid out with meticulous compliance to the layout of a medieval parish priest's garden. There is an information board at the entrance.

LE PETIT JARDIN A LA FRANCAISE
At the southern end of the village. A former cemetery which was abandoned in the 1890s. The planted box hedges are taken from the Montagne Noire and form a small maze beneath the hackberry trees.
