Regarding

The ‘Marble and Terroir’ eco-museum was born out of a desire shared by the commune of Caunes-Minervois and its inhabitants to offer a different perspective on the heritage of Caunes-Minervois involving traditional occupations based on marble and vines.
Housed in a former industrial warehouse, it is home to the ‘Marbre de Caunes d'hier et aujourd'hui’ (Caunes marble, past and present) exhibition designed by the ‘Les Marbrières de Caunes’ association, as well as the ‘Julien collection’ of old winemaking tools.
‘Marbre de Caunes d'hier et aujourd'hui’ looks in particular at the origin and formation of marble, extraction techniques, and the use of marble in domestic and religious furniture, as well as in contemporary sculpture. A number of samples of Occitanie marble are also on display.

Open from June to September (every afternoon in July and August), and the rest of the year by appointment.
Option of a combined ticket with Caunes Abbey (entrance to the abbey + entrance to the ecomuseum).
