The police record sheet (for foreign, not French, guests) must be kept by the professional for 6 months and submitted to the police or gendarmes if requested. Written in French and English, it must be completed and signed by all foreign tourists, including those from a member state of the EU, upon their arrival at the tourist accommodation.
The taxe de séjour, tourist tax
is exclusively earmarked for outgoings relating to increasing the touristic appeal of the region.
It is collected on a per night basis
All accommodation in the region let out on a seasonal basis are subject to this tax,
it is due on lets all year round
