It was in Caunettes en Val, in the heart of the scrubland, that Micias and Marie decided in 2008 to set up as producers and gatherers of aromatic and medicinal plants, and to establish L'Espinessence in order to create a range of products based on plants chosen for their beneficial properties. Everything comes from wild harvesting or from their own organically grown crops.
The plants are picked by hand in sites chosen for their excellent sun exposure and far from any pollution.
