PRIEURE SAINT MICHEL DE NAHUZE
PRIORY SAINT MICHEL DE NAHUZE: Former priory of which there are only vestiges.
The pure Romanesque style datess the church near the time of Charlemagne.
The people of Montlaur, Ribaute and Lagrasse went to Saint Michel de Nahuze in procession to ask for rain, singing litanies: "San Miquel balhatz nos d'aiga ..." (St Michel give us water) words to which a joker did not fail to add: "Barrejada ambé de vi; Maï de vi que d'aïgo,Tout pur encore milhou." (Mixed with wine, but with more wine than water, and pure it would be even better!)
