The Musée de Paléontologie et de Préhistoire is a private collection. It is the result of the passion of an amateur who was lucky enough to have the support of his wife and who, towards the end of his professional life, was able to exhibit part of his collection (around 15,000 fossils and prehistoric artefacts).
Come and discover the world of fossils and prehistory, whether you are a beginner or a student.
If you are a collector, you can identify your own fossils using samples from the various collections spanning almost every geological stage and group.
We can organise events for schools on a variety of subjects, as well as conferences. Open all year by reservation.
