Regarding

A second circular enclosure surrounds this heptagonal rotunda where you can walk around the building. It is covered by an arch drawn by a quarter circle like a flying buttress over the walls of the choir. There are fourteen columns in regular, medium brickwork with diverse capitals against the large polygonal wall. Chapels with different architectural styles - Gothic and Flamboyant Gothic - were added later.
Note the sumptuous sculptures and capitals attributed to the Maître Anonyme de Cabestany and his school, and more particularly the famous mandorla representing the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

Self-guided or guided tours possible of the Virgin Mary rotunda dating back to the 12th century and sculptures by Maître de Cabestany.
